There are nine total mineral water pools at Azure Palm Hot Springs: one large swimming pool. There is also an indoor dry sauna. Overnight guests will have 24-hour access to the pools and private mineral water bathtubs.

If you’re active, visit one of the many hiking trails in the area, such as Windy Ridge (3.6 miles), Blind Canyon (3.9 miles), or Tim’s Ladder Trail (4.7 miles). A brand-new trail Long Canyon Trail is 12 miles one way and connects to Joshua Tree National Park; it would be an excellent day-long winter trek. If you’re exploring in the summer, bring more water than you expect, wear a hat and sunscreen, and start your walk as early as possible in the morning. However, if you’ve got a car, this resort is only a 50-minute drive from Joshua Tree National Park, where you can spend hours exploring.

For those who wish to explore the city, it is a 3-minute drive, 8-minute bus ride, or 25-minute walk to Hacienda Palms Shopping Center on Palm Drive. The shopping center has an Indian restaurant, Mexican restaurant, donut shop, and grocery store. There are more restaurants and shops further up and down Palm Drive. Mexican restaurants are the most popular, with local favorites like Casa Blanca, Las Palmas, and Zapopan. However, most visitors will want to stay at the resort, which offers food on-site.
