A colorful history of medicinal bottled water, Native Americans and a French man named John Merci entwine throughout 160 acres of beautiful rolling hills and pasture-land. Rich natural mineral water feeds the various hot spring pools for day or overnight visitors to relax and rejuvenate in after hiking, biking, disc golfing or just enjoying life.

Mercey Hot Springs’ mission is to bring new life into the area using sustainable, eco-friendly processes and resources whenever possible. They wish to preserve the history and the feeling of those days when time moved a little slower while making Mercey a place for all to relish. Mercey Hot Springs is open year-round to day and overnight visitors. For those wishing to spend the night, reservations are needed.

Mercey Hot Springs Facilities

Take your pick from the large naturally heated swimming pool, adjustable above ground soaking tubs, private tubs and/or sauna. There is definitely a soak to suit anyone’s fancy at Mercey Hot Springs. The swimming pool clocks in around 85°F, while the soaking tubs are about 102°F – 104°F, but are adjustable. Stargazing while soaking up the wonderful mineral waters is a popular pastime at Mercey, along with good conversation, peace and serenity. Please keep in mind that this is a no-smoking facility, and Fido is welcome but be sure to check the rules first.

Pool Rates: Half day (up to 5 hours) passes are available to purchase.

Mercey Hot Springs Overnight Accommodations

Rest your head in one of Mercey’s six rustic and eclectic cabins or pick a campsite in the open meadow or lightly wooded areas. Only one cabin has a kitchen available, so pack as if you’re camping with your food, water and cooking needs. RV sites with limited hookups (no electricity) are also available to revel in the tranquility of Mercey’s surroundings. There are future plans for a restaurant, but not quite yet. Reservations must be made for overnight accommodations.

Mercey Hot Springs Directions

From Fresno:
Head West on 180 towards Mendota. Just before the town of Mendota, turn left on Belmont Ave/J1. Turn right on Fairfax Ave, then left on Shields Ave. Continue straight over I-5 for 13 miles before arriving at Mercey Hot Springs!
