About Harbin Hot Springs

More than five thousand acres of Mother Nature’s bounty surround the beautiful Harbin Hot Springs Retreat. Nestled in the mountains of Lake County, California, over a hundred full time residents come together to run this non-profit in the most pristine manner possible.

Each guest is treated as one of the community for however long their stay, sending them home filled with a sense of peace and harmony. Harbin Hot Springs embraces nature as closely as possible, most areas are clothing optional, allowing their guests to feel as free as they choose. When visiting Harbin, one member of each party must hold a membership, which can be purchased on-site.

Harbin Hot Springs Facilities

Harbin has a variety of pools to get your soak on. The Hot Pool clocks in close to 113*, feeding its natural mineral waters into the Warm Pool. Surrounded by sunning decks and breathtaking scenery, one can enjoy the Heart Pool, Cold Plunge, and swimming pool. Harbin also houses a steam and dry sauna, which are quite enjoyable during the cooler months. Relax with a massage, free yoga classes, or partake in one of the many workshops offered. For when the body needs fueling, Harbin has a full restaurant, two cafes and a market place where organic produce and a wide variety of healthy ingredients can be found to cook up in the communal kitchen. One will definitely not go hungry here with all of the delicious food around!

Harbin Hot Springs Overnight Accommodations

From rustic to luxury, Harbin Hot Springs has what their guests are looking for. One can choose to camp in the campground, tent cabins, sleep under the stars on the main deck, share the experience in the domes or get their own room or cottage. All rates include 24 hour use of the pools and facilities. Relax and rejuvenate in whatever manner suits you best.

Additional Need to Know at Harbin Hot Springs:
Harbin is a quaint and rustic place to relax, keeping this in mind, it may not be the best place to vacation with children. However, Harbin does have available accommodations for those who do come with family. Please leave Fido and his friends at home, the hot springs is not a place for them to be. Harbin Hot Springs requests that cell phones are turned off upon arrival to further enhance the tranquility for everyone. A pay phone is available for use. WiFi is available on a pay-per-minute basis by the Blue Room Cafe.

From Middletown, California: head West on Co Road 117C/Main Street towards Calistoga Stree. Continue on and turn right onto Barnes Street. Keep going and continue onto Big Canyon Road/CO Rd 107. After about a mile, take a slight left onto Harbin Springs Road. Be sure to pay attention because in a couple miles you’ll need to take a right to stay on Harbin Springs Road/Co Rd 109. Not too much further and you’ll be at Harbin Hot Springs! Please be aware the Harbin Springs Road is narrow and winding. See cattle and deer is not uncommon, so please drive carefully.
